Listening to the audio is definitely beneficial to me in that it truly helps me to relax both my mind and body. I have never felt the kind of feelings that I'm experiencing since taking this class. I've often practiced breathing techniques, but never experienced relaxation through audio.
The analogy of color--I think the author referred to it as "Rainbow Meditation", took me to such a beautiful and quiet place of calmness within my own body, all I can say is, "oh, what a feeling."
Just a very short time ago, I got upset about the smallest things in life, and was easily frustrated when things were not orderly and did not go the way I perhaps thought they should. I did not have a lot of patience, nor did I have tolerance for foolishness or stupidity. Through my own personal journey and maturity, I am learning that life is short and it is important to let go of the least important things and focus more on those things that bring me a sense of joy and happiness, such as focusing on the needs of others helps me understand my own circumstances as I seek to evolve towards a more psychospiritual approach.
My consciousness has now been raised to a level where I can and will, incorporate this exercise in my daily life to help my mind and body to maintain a sense of calmness and relaxation.
